Q: My wife and I are considering visiting Tenerife next year for our first real holiday since our beautiful baby son was born 18 months ago and we are really looking forward to the break but due to personal reasons, neither of our own parents can come with us. This is a shame because it’s our 5th Wedding Anniversary whilst were out and I would really like to take my wife out for a romantic evening but we have no one to baby sit for us. Do you know if there are any licensed Tenerife child care companies or babysitting facilities that we could use? We would be grateful for any information you can give us. Rob Grenson.
A: Hi Rob, Thank you very much for your enquiry via Tenerife Times, regarding your Tenerife Childcare and Babysitting needs, have you seen the Tenerife Childcare website?

There are 3 stunning Marinas within 30 minutes drive of each other where I can goand gaze at my dream Tenerife Boats. |

We are flying to Tenerife with Ryanair soon and it involves flying from an airport over 2 hours away from our home and an early morning flight so we wondered what would be the easiest and best way for us to manage this. We considered all the options, including setting off in the early hours of the morning from home with a long drive and an early check in time, Setting off from home around midnight and arriving at the airport early then 'crashing' for the rest of the time but finally we decided to do it in style and have booked a room at a hotel on the airport complex.

We have just this minute received a text message from a TenerifeTimes.com visitor who is stuck on the runway at Tenerife South Airport and expecting 2-3 hour delays as they have been told that the Tenerife Air Traffic Control officers have gone on strike.
We will let you know more details as they come in. |
